Guys, as most of you should be aware we were forced to evacuate ENCORE following a campus wide power cut today just before finishing. This outage is still in effect on site and security have not got an eta to get it back up. They do expect however to have it back up by the morning, but warned us of the posibility that it won't as this is a serious outage.
With this in mind we're still unsure if we're running tomorrow, if power is back we WILL be. However we do not yet know. Tomorrow morning we will contact the university to confirm the score and will be post here. Please, please, please check here BEFORE heading out tomorrow for an update to avoid turning up at a locked university.
If we are unable to run we will of course be refunding you guys for your Sunday tickets. We'll do this as best we can through CORE weekly's / next Encore. Thanks for your understanding guys, we're sorry about this.
BOTTOMLINE: We're still not sure if Sunday is on. Check here before heading out to confirm if we're running. |

Due to last minute complications from the Uni we've had to change how we're running Encore 4 slightly. Instead of a 24 hour event we'll now be running from 9am-10pm on BOTH Saturday and Sunday. We apologise for any inconveniences caused, but we still expect to see most of you there! :p

As it says in the title, we have an announcement to make. Core Gaming is proud to present bi-weekly Theme Nights!
Every two weeks we'll have a gaming night dedicated to a certain area of gaming (e.g. shooters, sports, fighting games, zombies etc) to spice things up a bit and just for a bit of fun! The week after will be regular Gaming Night, then the next week another Theme Night and so on...
Our first Theme Night will be a Retro Night. If it isn't current gen, it'll be played (MegaDrive/N64/SNES/PS1/Gameboy etc), so bring in any old titles and/or consoles as well as your nostalgia glasses and show the current gen how we used to have fun =D
Retro Night will take place on Wednesday 24th February, same time (6pm) and same place (Bunker) as usual!
Suggestions welcome on the forums. |

Thats it guys, the consoles have been disassembled, boxes packed and everything put in its place. Encore has come to a close for another month and boy what an Encore! 90 attendees makes it our most successful event yet, thanks everyone for coming!
For now we say farewell but not goodbye for we WILL be back in April and of course we have our weekly events ;-)
